Revelation 12:9-11

9 The great dragon was thrown down—the ancient serpent, the one called the Devil and Satan, the one who leads the whole inhabited earth astray—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

10 I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying:

Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God
    and the authority of his Christ,[a]
because the accuser of our brothers[b] has been thrown down,
    the one who accuses them before our God day and night.
11 They conquered him
    because of the blood of the Lamb and
    because of the word of their testimony.
They did not love their lives in the face of death.
